Seventh- and eighth-grade students from across Nebraska came to Omaha for the annual Playsmart Academy.

Since 1997 Playsmart has been providing athletic and academic opportunities to American’s youth, and in Nebraska we remain committed to this mission and welcome you to join us in our efforts. On June 5-9, we host our annual Playsmart Academy at the Salvation Army Kroc Center in South Omaha.

The Greater Omaha Sports Committee is a Non-Profit 501(c) 3 founded in 1977. The committee consists of more than 200 key executive, sports minded people who wish to see the Sports in Omaha flourish.

The Elkhorn Playsmart Leadership Academy students decided to do an AR challenge. They called it the AR CITY CHALLENGE. In all 4 middle schools there are roughly 2,000 student combined. We have schools that have populations of 21% poverty and others that have less than 2% poverty.
